We hear or read many times,Make money TODAY!… within hours, make 10k in 1 month, and all this promises for FAST affiliate cash.

on the other hand we also hear that Making Money Takes TIME!

that it is something that you should build up over time in order to be successful

So which side are you ON?

Me personally I believe in both sides, let me elaborate…

First off Fast Cash:

It is true that you can make fast cash overnight, taking into account that you know what you are doing.

You should have a plan, or  a system to implement in order to do this, and it has to be time tested over and over in order for it to work efficiently.

You can’t make money by just building a web page, or blog and slapping in you affiliate link in there and hoping that people would come rushing in and you would make some fast affiliate commission.

OR Can YOU?

to be honest it is possible to make money by just putting up a page and slapping in your affiliate link!

The secret with this is that you must already have an audience that is willing to go to the page and see and click your link.

You might be confused right now which brings us to our second point

Making Money Takes time

Like in the example above in order to make fast affiliate commission you must have a LIST or audience that listen to you and are willing to see you page.

You see the difference here?

Making money can be both a fast or slow game, it is up to you to decide.

Lets see some more options to make some fast commissions:

You could Do

• PPC
• Guest Posting
• JV Partnering
• and a more wide range of mainly paid options in order to make fast cash

On the other Hand if you TAKE YOUR TIME (assuming you are following a successful technique) you could build your business up by

• building a List
• Relationships ( with JV’s and your list)
• doing teleseminars and webminars
• Video marketing
• blogging
• SEO
• and a bunch of other methods that basically build up your brand

So those are some few methods hat are used to make fast money, or money over time.

So what method is better?

I think both have their advantages, and it really depends on your goal

Maybe you Don’t Want to be known for anything online, and just want to be an affiliate and make passive income over time (your problem will be solved once the CB Predator Launches)

Or maybe you want to build a business, then you would brand yourself, and build relationships, and you could make money by Emailing affiliate promotions to your list, or by selling your own products, or both!

So choice is up to you, your goals and needs.

Lately there has been a lot of talking about SEO
and if you don’t know what that is or if you are a newbie it is an acronym for Search Engine Optimization.

What exactly is SEO? or what does it do?

Basically SEO involves structuring your website so that the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN can find your website for the keywords you think are important or are trying to rank for. There is an specific art and a science to getting SEO right, getting ranked, and then turning those clicks into revenue for you.

You know for example, some questions involved are

• Does your site have a good title tag, and a good meta description? How about just one H1 header on every page?
• Is your keyword below 5% density on your article or post?
• Do you even know what I’m talking about? lol

Most of the time this is just a way to suck you into buying a new product, either by the product creator who just wants to take advantage of you by giving you some crappy PLR product so he can make some quick income. Or by his/her affiliates who also do not care about the buyer and just want some quick commissions.

So is making money online effortlessly really possible?

Well the truth in my opinions is that it is possible but not without any initial effort, let me expand on this.

You see, making money from doing nothing isn’t possible, is like wanting to lose weight without eating in a healthy way or exercising, it is just not possible.

What it is possible is to make money by doing LOTS of work, promotions, basically giving exposure to a site or promotion you want, after that the energy you have to put in this project can be diminished greatly, maybe in a way you will see it as effortless because you would only have to check on your site every now and then, assuming that you have previously marketed this site effectively.

Let me give you an example

Lets say you are doing a promotion for a weight loss product.

So you cannot just hope to make lots of commissions by getting a hop link form ClickBank and hopoing for luck.

NO!

What you can do is actually build a site/blog where you will be promoting your site.

Have an optin box so you can get people into your list

OFFER REAL VALUE!

don’t make fake promises only to get a quick sale, there are way to many people scamming others and this needs to STOP!

After you have some good quality articles in you blog, then its time to get some exposure to them.

Of course this is assuming you have done your homework by doing keyword research, studying your competition, getting a feel for the market and knowing what your angle of attack will be.

OK so if you have done that, then we can get exposure by building backlinks to our sites and getting it indexed.

You would need to do some article marketing, blog commenting on others blogs linking to your site (again NO spamming) video marketing, marketing in web 2.0 sites, such as squidoo, hubpages, weebly, and other sites like that.

also some forum marketing, and basically offering people value and help  to others trough different means so you can gain their trust and market them on their needs.

Once all this is done and you have their trust and they like you now you can market them some useful affiliate program to their needs

for example back to the weight loss promotion

if you have people interested in weight loss, they might also be interested in dieting, detox, possibly muscle building, maybe they are mainly males, then you would market differently, maybe mainly female then you could offer specific programs for women and such.

So basically after you know the demographics of your market you could just send and email to your list about a good affiliate product that would help them, because you already know their needs and they would most likely buy because they like you and trust you.

SO you see at this point you could give value every now and then and your subscribers will be happy, and you could effectively promote affiliate products to them and have a nice responding list that would generate income without much effort from your part.

So in the end it all looks like

Doing nothing + Hoping to make sales = Zero Income

Getting to know your market + effective marketing your site + building your own list + every now and them promoting to them = Good responsive list that would give you nice income

So some initial effort is needed to make some good passive income
